Subject: Mandatory Vaccination and Proof of Vaccination

As of October 30, 2021, travellers departing from a Canadian airport will need to be fully vaccinated to travel.

The Government of Canada has announced that there will be a short transition period during which it will be possible to travel, by showing proof of a valid COVID-19 molecular test taken within 72 hours prior to travel, rather than showing complete proof of vaccination.

For travellers who have not yet started the vaccination process, or do not plan on doing so in a timely manner, the Government of Canada reminds them that they run the risk of not having the right to travel as of November 30, 2021.
