Interlocutory injunction against Last Generation

The YUL airport site was the scene of public outbursts and acts of mischief by the group Last Generation.

It is totally unacceptable to jeopardize access to an airport that provides essential services at the expense of passengers. ADM deplores the fact that the site has been targeted by this action, at a time when the group is trying to draw the attention of the federal government to a much broader social debate.

Considering the major impacts caused by Last Generation's actions on passengers at YUL, ADM has obtained an interlocutory injunction to prevent any obstruction of operations by the group, or any such activity by the group, throughout the airport territory. If they decide to defy the court's ruling, group members will face contempt of court charges.

The right to demonstrate is still authorized on the YUL site, but obviously in compliance with applicable procedures to ensure that airport operations are not obstructed.
