The City of Mirabel and YMX have begun construction of a new road link approximately 2 km long to link the site to Chemin St-Simon, on its western edge. Besides creating a major new access road and a second link to Highway 50, this new connection will allow the local public to access the site without having to take the highway, and will encourage access via active modes of transportation such as biking, walking, etc.
